Position Title: Regional Change Coordinator

Job Location: Bangalore, KA-India

Responsibilities

  • Ability to apply an IT Service Management (ITSM) change management process and tools to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative
  • dhere to IT General Controls and accepted benchmark best practices
  • Support the design, development, delivery, and management of communications, as needed
  • Affirm requirements for business end to end impact analysis, change de-confliction, testing, and back out processes have been reviewed by the accountable leader and assess change readiness.
  • Where not adequate, identify key stakeholders and escalate
    Identify and manage anticipated resistance
  • Support enterprise, regional and/or local change managers in IT General Control and other change process inquires
  • Provide change management process and tool training
  • Lead Regional Change Advisory Board (CAB) weekly meetings
  • Facilitate Monthly Infrastructure Change Window (ICW) Releases.
  • Requires a relevant degree, technical certification or equivalent experience. Three to six years in integration, infrastructure system administration, or support work is common. In addition, the incumbent should have a good knowledge of Caterpillar policies and procedures, and a general understanding of Caterpillar’s organization.”

Required Skillsets –

  • Should have 5+ years of experience in information technologies such as technical infrastructure and/or general business processes functional applications
  • Exposure to ITIL and ITSM processes. ITIL certification is a plus
  • Technical knowledge of software, servers, storage, network (firewalls), risk and cloud domains
  • An understanding and application of information technology in different cultures, working across different countries, and exposure in an international environment
  • Experience in ServiceNow is a plus
  • Proven track record acting as a subject matter expert (SME) on projects
  • Strong Communication, teamwork, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as being a collaborative team member
  • Able to manage own duties including setting priorities.
  • Work Timings– 1:00PM to 10:00PM IST (Approx.)

Background/experience:

  • Requires a relevant degree, technical certification or equivalent experience.
  • The incumbent should be knowledgeable of the appropriate programming languages; computing hardware and software; and current deployment processes and tools.
  • Three to six years in integration, infrastructure system administration, or support work is common.
  • In addition, the incumbent should have a good knowledge of Caterpillar policies and procedures, and a general understanding of Caterpillar’s organization.
  • The role will provide support as the Regional Change Manager and backup to the Enterprise Change Manager and Division Change Manager in the Enterprise ITSM Quality & Demand Management department
  • Responsibilities include leading the EAME and AP weekly CAB meetings, reviewing and approving enterprise/division changes, leading monthly ICW coordination activities, and providing training, support, and guidance across the Enterprise to support teams.
